Crema Outdoor was founded in 1890 in Montagnana, a small village in North-East of Italy. We started off as a small rain umbrella factory that evolved into a high-quality atelier leader in the Italian umbrella market. The brothers Lorenzo and Alessandro Crema are the fifth generation who picked up the family artisanal legacy and they have been carrying it on with passion and innovation spirit.
We have come a long way since we first started. Over the years we have become a modern, organized and certificated company whose goal is to supply our clients with professional high quality beach umbrellas and outdoor furniture Made in Italy. Our products are made in Italy and are characterized by a simple and timeless design devised to last over time.
The quality of our gestational system is ISO 9001 certified; therefore, the flow of paperwork and products follows predetermined logic and traceability paths that are regularly monitored.
The beating heart of our business is technical department, which is directed by Alessandro Crema. With the help of sophisticated software, he designs new products and organizes the manufacture systems.
Lorenzo Crema is at the head of our commercial team, which manages the sales and includes agents and retailers active in the Ho.Re.Ca. market in Italy and abroad. Our mono and pluri-mandatory agents are in charge of taking care of our direct clients, while retailers respond directly to our commercial team. Agents and retailers operate directly on the territory and are assigned specific areas in order to avoid commercial overlaps. The commercial team believes that technical support and linguistic knowledge are fundamental for accommodating any request as it occurs.
Once the order has been approved, it is transmitted to the purchase department, where we verify commodities stock availability and we considered potential purchases. The order is then transmitted to the manufacture team that, supported by innovative software, fabricates the product.
The manufacturing team is divided in three departments: cutting, packaging and assembling. Thanks to innovative software we are able to acquire all the information we need in order to control, manage and optimize every single step of the manufacturing process as it happens. Once this is over, we verify the quality of the product that is then handed over to the warehouse, which is equipped with innovative logistic and informatic systems, along with our vertical storage system. Thanks to this production process we are able to monitor the availability and the location of our commodities, semi-finished and finished products.
The administration office, supported by an external consultancy firm, keeps track of countability, invoicing and liquidity flows.
We are particularly proud of the building where we are located. It is located in Montagnana and divided into several units: show-room (180 sqm), offices (120 sqm), production (900 sqm), warehouse (900 sqm) and more than 3200 sqm of open spaces and loading ramps. Logistics and cargo flows are organized according to previously defined itinerary that have been studied with the goal of optimizing production time.
